What is a Vertical Standing Table Knife?

Vertical standing cutlery - usually the table knifes and dessert knifes - has been a design development of recent years, aimed at making an eye catching table setting.
Basically, clever design allows either the handle to stand on an edge, with the blade flat. Or the blade can balance on its edge, with the handle flat on the table. And all without compromising the comfort of the cutlery in the hand when in use.
